What other facilities are on offer

Bedford Charter House has its own Club House on two floors. On the ground floor the Club House has its own receptionist and meeting lobby, plus 2 multi purpose activity spaces including a cinema style room and facilities for parties and external activities. On the first floor we

have our health & wellbeing suite which includes a hairdressing salon and facilities

for other beauty treatments, a sports room and a library with IT facilities.
These facilities are open to other groups in Bedford who provide services of benefit to older people.

The Care Home is adjacent to the Club House and has its own security system. The Care Home is only open to residents and visitors but they are welcome and encouraged to use the Club House facilities.

Within the Care Home, and on each floor, are a variety of communal rooms including dining rooms, lounges and mini conservatories. Bedford Charter House has a fully accessible garden and residents are encouraged to use the garden for exercise, socialising and gardening.

BCHA can provide storage space in its dedicated safe for valuables. BCHA can also look after your personal money if you wish and provide regular statements of expenditure.
