Respite care is short term care and support in Bedford Charter House, our residential home for older people. The rooms are available for booking for periods of 1 day up to 4 weeks. Day Care is also available on request.
Respite Care is suitable for the following people:
People leaving hospital who would like the opportunity to recuperate before returning home
People who would like to try residential care to see if it is suitable for them
People who are cared for at home by relatives and friends who are going on holiday, or are unwell themselves and need temporary care and support
Day care for people who would like a day away from home to enjoy the facilities on offer in a caring atmosphere
